Is it really $0 upfront?+
Yes, there's no setup or design fee on any plan, and the preview is free with no card needed. If you go ahead, you pay the plan price: for Starter that's A$1,188/yr once a year on the yearly plan (works out to A$99/mo), or A$119/mo in advance on the monthly plan. All prices in AUD and include GST. The first charge only happens when you sign up, after you've approved your preview.
Is there a lock-in?+
No lock-in contracts. Setup is free if you stay 3 months or more. If you cancel in your first 3 months, a one-off A$199 setup fee covers the build. After that, cancel anytime with no fees. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you've already paid for. Yearly plans are paid 12 months upfront and renew automatically each year until you cancel. We remind you by email before every renewal, with the price and the renewal date, and you can cancel by email anytime before it renews.
Who owns my domain name?+
You do, always. Your domain is registered in your name (or your business's name and ABN). We're only listed as the technical contact so we can manage it for you. If you ever leave, we'll help you point it wherever you like. We never hold a domain back, including when an account is unpaid.
Who owns the website itself?+
Your words, logo and photos are always yours. The design and code are licensed to you while you're subscribed. You can buy the site files outright for A$799, or get them free after 24 paid months, and take them to any host. What happens if a payment fails?+
We retry it and let you know on days 0, 3 and 7. If it's still unpaid after 14 days, we may pause your website (a simple holding page shows) after giving you 48 hours' final notice. We restore it within one business day of payment. After 60 days unpaid the agreement ends, and you can still take your domain and your content.
What about refunds?+
Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded. If something goes seriously wrong (a major failure), you're entitled to a refund for the unused part of your plan, or we'll fix it. For a smaller problem we'll fix it within a reasonable time. Beyond that, yearly fees aren't refunded for change of mind, but your site keeps running until the end of the paid year. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime.
Can you change my price later?+
Only from your next renewal or billing period, with at least 30 days' written notice, and you can cancel before it applies. We won't change your price in the middle of a paid term.
How quickly will I see my preview?+
Every plan goes live within 7 days of receiving your content (business details, services and a few photos), or your first month is free. That promise is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You'll always see a preview before you pay anything.
How do I get changes made or add new job photos?+
On Growth and Premium you get our 1-hour fix line, 24/7: email
[email protected] any time and small edits are usually live within the hour. Small edits means text and wording changes, prices, opening hours, swapping or adding photos, and adding or removing a service. Larger changes (new pages, redesigns, new features) are quoted and scheduled, usually starting within 2 business days. On Starter, small edits are done within 2 business days of your email. The 1-hour time is a service target, not a guarantee, and covers a reasonable volume of small edits with clear instructions and the content we need. Bigger jobs get quoted first, so there are no surprise bills.
How do I pay?+
By card, through Stripe's secure checkout. We never see or store your full card number. Your card is charged monthly or yearly in advance, depending on your plan, and we give at least 30 days' notice before any price change.
Do you guarantee I'll be #1 on Google?+
No, and be wary of anyone who does. Every site comes with solid on-page SEO, a sitemap and Search Console setup, and on most plans Google Business Profile help too. That gives you a strong local foundation, but rankings depend on many things outside anyone's control.
Do you use AI on my photos and videos? Is that honest?+
With Content Boost (an add-on on Starter and Growth, included in Premium) we use editing and AI tools to improve your own job photos and phone videos: lighting, colour, cropping, and cutting short promo clips. We don't create fake customers, testimonials or AI actors, and we won't make edits that misrepresent your actual work or products, or hide faults (for example in property photos). You confirm you have the rights to the media you send, and you approve everything before it's posted.
